I'm a wimp when it comes to my body feeling cold (or hot) and this was the coldest camping of my life. And I survived. Honestly, it wasn't that bad. I think I could go more often.
We arrived late Friday night and there was ice and snow everywhere. Something we didn't plan for. Our friends drove, and luckily, they are used to driving in those conditions and were able to maneuver the slush and ice. They're pros.
Robbie and Nick enjoyed a nice day of fishing in the icy water and Jamie and I explored the river trail. We saw gatorade blue water, a herd of deer and enjoyed the still and quiet.
